It’s so exciting celebrating all of baby’s firsts, including their first holidays. If you are celebrating your baby’s first Easter this year, or know someone who is, this blog post is for you! We are going to be enjoying our first Easter with our little guy, Luca, and I’ve been having so much fun putting together his first Easter basket. Below I’m sharing some baby’s first Easter basket ideas.
At first, I was wondering what I would put in his basket since he obviously won’t be eating any candy lol. But once I started coming up with ideas, I ended up having way too many things I wanted to put in his basket. {I had to reel it in a little lol}. There really are so many good Easter gift ideas for babies in their first year though! From educational toys and books, to teethers or baby feeding accessories and even clothes {they are too young to complain about getting clothes as a gift lol!}
If you missed it, I shared a bunch of affordable non-traditional Easter basket ideas a couple weeks ago. This basket is the one I ended up getting for Luca, and I love that I will be able to use it for organizing his toys the rest of the year. I lean towards Easter basket styles that will look nice around the house. This way they can be repurposed and not need to be stored the rest of the year. For basket filling, I picked up this crinkle cut shred filler to put in the base of the basket before filling it up with goodies.
Some of the baby’s first Easter ideas below are toys that we already have and Luca LOVES so I wanted to share with all of you too! The Llama Llama books are some of Luca’s favorites! I highly recommend them if you don’t already have them. There is a whole collection including this Easter one!
