I shared on instagram @sunseekinginstyle today that Cinco de Mayo is one of my favorite holidays. Mexico has a very special place in my heart, and I feel a sort of connection with the country. Mexico was the first place I ever traveled solo internationally. I went when I was 19, and it was during a really tough time in my life. That was probably when travel first became therapy for me.
Since then, I’ve been a number of other times to all different parts of Mexico, and it always kind of feels like home, like I belong. I love the culture, the energy of the people, the food, and all the beautiful colors. The warm weather and beaches don’t hurt either. 😉

So I get very excited every year around Cinco de Mayo to celebrate. I wanted to share some Cinco de Mayo outfit inspiration with you in case you are planning to celebrate or to even inspire you to get dressed up and celebrate with some mexican food, margaritas, and maracas! All these outfits need is a sombrero!
